Autism self-training tool for parents IPAT-T is a user friendly Digital Tool, to support self learning of parents with an autistic child.

IPAT-T you are currently being introduced to,is one of the outcomes of the EU co-funded Erasmus+ project “ Integrative Parents’ Autism Training-IPAT” www.ipatproject.eu

We have included 31 videos, 31 short presentations and corresponding interactive activities in the self learning tool IPAT-T. The material is organized in 8 thematic meetings, and was developed taking into account the parents’ needs, as expressed by themselves at the beginning of the project. Experienced professionals, working with persons who have autism and their families, participated in the preparation of the material in the partner countries and institutions.

You will have the opportunity to identify remaining learning needs or topics that would need further clarification and /or attention, by taking the Quizz at the end of each “meeting-UNIT”.

IPAT-T is compatible with mobile devices: you can download, free of charge, the respective app Moodle at the app stores for Windows, iOS and Android devices.

We have designed an intuitive tool, easy to use: it is easy to start with the app and easy to understand its management.

We opted for a simple design:The graphic interface contains only the necessary elements to facilitate the interaction of the user, allowing them to advance and/or go back in the content. Further, we provided a built-in menu that allows you to navigate according to your preferences.

Last but not least, the graphic presentation is accessible to people with sensory disabilities, hearing and visual impairment, allowing, for example, the user to select the desired contrast of colors or the size of the text, while subtitles are incorporated in all videos.
